A 17-year old girl who was dating his long-time boyfriend was forbidden by his stepfather to keep seeing him and was forced to breakup with him. She wrote a poem to him about her love, telling him that she will not give up on fighting for him.

Three days later, the guy responded on her poem with another poem:

Not as Easy as Saying 1-4-3-2

1. How many times do I have to tell you
2 .It is over for me and you
3. I wish you'd stop thinking
4. That I love you still and that it's unwavering.

The girl after reading the poem, started crying out of pure joy. It was not as easy for him to say, 1-4-3-2 on a poem that could be intervened by the stepfather, but definitely  easier for him to write his feelings out, and for her to read it as such.

[A/N:] For those of you who do not know what 1-4-3-2 stands for, it's a typical response for 1-4-3 (I love you) 1 - I, 4 - LOVE, 3 - YOU, which corresponds to the number of letters of the words. 1-4-3-2 on the other hand stands for "I love you 2."

And I shouldn't even put it here, but I guess if you really did not get the poem's message, read it in that order - 1-4-3-2. It's double meaning :)
